A little demo of the widgets in my tiny CMS
The freedom to do things that no one wants you to do, but you like doing them. People ask me - "Why, he says, don't you use WordPress, it is for free". "For free , but you sell them your soul" I say and that's that!
Nobody likes carousels
It can be with tiny clickable pictures or it can be with dots. To my dismay, it might as well be animated - i.e. to rotate independently. This happened at the request of the people around me, because "that's how it's done".
In my opinion, it's inhumane to spin something like a circus while trying to read the text or look at one of the pictures. It's best to click it yourself when you want something to change. It's saner to have things stay still if you don't touch them.
The shots are from Kalina's apartment. It's for sale. Whoever is interested - drop me a line.

I put elevator music on the clip to make it look more store-like. But the handmade video player is terrific. Maybe I should add subtitles... It has no dialogue. Buuuuut... one needs plugins and subtitles because some people talk like they have cigar in their mouths at all times.
I want to note that the background is end-to-end: you select a section and checkbox Band.

My dad sells apple juice
He squeezes it from the apples he looks after in his garden. He picks the apples in autumn and squeezes them in a press, puts it in glass bottles of one liter and sterilizes it. It is sterilized because there is yeast on the surface of the apples, which in a few days turns it into apple cider vinegar.
Send your apple juice orders to me.
What is the next thing that we'll see in the CMS?
There will be a small checkbox on the background parallax section. As you scroll, it scrolls at a different speed ... as if it is further away, somewhere "behind" the page.
Several days later...
I made the parallax. I'd rather have died yesterday. Turns out it behaves pretty badly if it's just CSS. I also had to write Javascript code (50 lines). It's not actually a checkbox, it's just a drop-down with options - exactly how strong parallax you want. The heroic background at the top of this page has parallax enabled.
I am meditating on a plugin to display program code. You say what language it is, write the code (or copy it from somewhere) and it colors your keywords.
